Congratulations to Pippa Shepherd
Pippa Shepherd took part in the IOCA International Optimist Class Association Selections over the Bank Holiday weekend. The 76 Top ranked GBR sailors took part in the event held at Weymouth. Over 4 days and a series of 10 races. Pippa came 3rd overall and 1st Girl, making the GBR Worlds Optimist Sailing Team being held at Mar Del Plat in Argentina in December along with taking part as a More »

RNLI 200th Anniversary Pursuit Race - 6th May
The RNLI 200th Anniversary Pursuit Race at BSC was a huge success! With amazing support from Club members, over 60 entries, lots of families taking part and almost £500 raised! It was great to see so many cadets completing another Junior Week qualifying race. The clear winners were Paul and Laura Kameen in their Firefly, continuing their winning streak at our Pursuit races. Social Sailing gets off to a great start at BSC!
New for 2024! The first of our new social sailing sessions took place on Friday 26th April. These regular Friday sessions will be led by Melvyn Cooper with a relaxed and supportive emphasis. There's no pressure on formal learning. Just the opportunity to go sailing with safety cover whilst being helped and supported by experienced and RYA qualified instructors.
